It appears that careful, strategic seating arrangement is about as important and skillful as choosing the right jurors to win a trial.
Sunnyvale Planner Trudi Ryan writes to the Director of Community Development, Hanson Hom, discussing various center bull pen seating arrangement options for staff during both the Palo Alto Medical Foundation PAMF EIR, a subsidiary of Sutter Health, Project Commission and Council Hearings.
Trudi Ryan relays different options and reasons why it is preferable to have each staff member sit in particular locations.
But why did this change? Instead of sitting in the bull pen area, Planner Trudi Ryan sat in the audience row (2nd?) and never spoke. Hanson Hom took the role as lead speaker.
And, most curiously, was the of Principal Planner Gerri Caruso’s replacement, Steve Lynch, who was, as I understand, tucked away in the West Conference Room viewing the hearing on a teleprompter.
There were plenty of seats available, why was Planner Steve Lynch missing from the Council Chambers during the Hearing? hmmmmm . . . ?
