Sunnyvale neighbors to appeal court’s decisions in Raynor lawsuit

Fight ‘not over’ president Tim Dietrich says. Despite losing its lawsuit, a group of Sunnyvale residents fighting to restore public access to Raynor Park is not done fighting yet. The group is appealing the court’s rulings in favor of the city.

According to the group, the city claimed that the public did not petition the city properly, despite residents bringing up issues the CEQA law covers. The judge concurred with the city, that asking questions about the law, such as impacts on the environment and traffic was not enough, and that members of the public must actually state, by name, that the city was violating the CEQA.

Sunnyvale officials seek public input for apartment projects on E. Weddell Drive

The public review period for the draft environmental report for two expansive apartment projects on E. Weddell Drive is open now through Oct. 23.

The projects on 520-592 E. Weddell Drive and 610-630 E. Weddell Drive will bring 465 units and 205 units, respectively, to the area near the N. Fair Oaks Avenue and Highway 101 intersection.

The Sunnyvale Peery Park LinkedIn Building is a massive 560,000 square foot – four building project. Bizjournal reports the city records show the same developer, DiNapoli, is seeking review for the design of another six-story, 233,400-square-foot building with a four-level parking structure at 767 N. Moffett Place Project Draft Subsequent EIR is available_Key Dates

A Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (DSEIR) has been prepared for Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Place project located in Moffett Park in the area between Borregas Drive and Mathilda Avenue. The project includes six eight-story buildings, two parking structures, an amenities building and an extension of Innovation Way to Bordeaux Drive.
